What’s Developing

Published by Andrew Redmond

I have been a photographer since my teenage years, and my first commission was to photograph the twinning ceremony between Newport (South Wales) and Heidenheim in Germany. Since then I have photographed weddings, family portraits, pets etc.

  1. So 2020 has been defined by Coronavirus for everyone as these are strange and difficult times. It has certainly knocked our plans back by a whole year at the moment, and has made us revisit our targets and goals for the year. The good thing to come out of this is the fact that it allows us more time to test our goals, and ensure that they are achievable – as well as allowing more time to get to know the equipment we are dependant upon. You can never prepare too much for any eventualities that may arise, so this is time that can be used to ensure professionalism at all levels of what we wish to achieve.

It is also a good time to try new methodologies to see what works. So as my daughter is a trainee Veterinary Nurse, I am going to take photos of the animals that we get to foster for short periods. This will allow me to try something different whilst keeping my processing skills up to date.

Keep an eye on the pages for these new arrivals.

  2. I have now added a ‘Fur & Feathers’ page to the website so that I can show some of the photos that are being taken during the lock down period. Please feel free to have a look, and any feedback is always appreciated.
